Thanks to Jasmine for sharing her thoughts with us in this great letter. We will be sure to forward her letter to our state legislators as they think about what kinds of laws they want to propose in 2011. Jasmine and other advocates would be glad to hear that our petition against BSL in Texas has reached over 1200 signatures as of today.

Jasmine, we, mom, dad,grandma, brothers and sisters are ALL so proud of you…. I am glad you took time to write this letter my girl….. there is also a video on unitedapbt.ning in groups fighting bsl where Jasmine’s letter is and it actually shows the dog she is talking about in this letter. Plus me with a razors edge pit with a HUGE smile on our faces. PLUS, the pit showed saying my dad is serving our country is in our care while Tyler is on a 9-11month deployment in afghanistan….. Jasmine also volunteers at our local NO-KILL dog shelter and she is a BIG help with all the fosters we have had in our care!!! i love you jasmine, DONT EVER CHANGE MY BABY GIRL!!!!!
