Our 5th anniversary gala event “Diamonds in the Ruff” was extremely successful and could not have been without the support from all of our donors, sponsors, event sponsors, volunteers and attendees. Best of all we exceeded our $10,000 goal!
This was truly a memorable event and a great celebration of how far the organization and our supporters have come. We genuinely appreciate each and every one of you whether it’s helping to setup an adoption event, walking new rescued dogs, taking a foster into your home, transporting an adopt-a-bull, writing painstaking grants, donating collars and leashes, or even simply keeping in touch to ask if we need your help.
We would like to personally thank the following for helping Love-A-Bull make this happen:
We also want to thank the following for helping to make this a successful event:
The Palm Door provided a unique and intimate venue with an amazing staff, some of whom also have pit bull type dogs
Pink Avocado Catering served up a wonderful delicious vegetarian/vegan buffet, chosen to be without meat because Love-A-Bull supports all animals
Brenton Schumacher, Owner of The Palm Door and Executive Chef of Pink Avocado Catering
The talented Harpist, Emily Bridge, donated her time to play at our event and donating hours of your talent to make our event complete
Premier Party Central provided the linens for our tables
Our gorgeous assortment of red rose and carnation flower bouquets that sat on the dining tables, bar, and entry way were donated by Debra McAdoo of D. Sweetpeas Custom Floral Design
Bijou Finney, owner of Velvet Cartel helped us out with a sound system and projector to make telling our stories possible
Here’s a link to watch the video presentation from the gala online.
Events should never be without photos to capture the great memories. We can’t thank enough our continuously supportive volunteer and professional photographer, Amanda Wintenburg. We invite you to view the wonderful event photos on our Flickr album here.
The evening would not have been complete without our awesome beverage supporters that allowed our events team to create signature drinks for the evening: Rebecca Creek Whiskey, Circle Brewing Co., Adelbert’s Brewery, Capital Beverage, Red Bull and CVS.
And of course thank you to our bartender Christopher Wood for donating his time to serve all these great drinks.
