Calle’s love for dog rescue began in high school when she found a stray puppy and couldn’t turn away. Her parents simply rolled their eyes as she brought yet another dog home, but that pup became her first rescue, one she nursed back to health and found a loving home for.

From that moment on, rescue and advocacy became her passion. Working at a vet clinic through high school only deepened her dedication, and when her boyfriend adopted Ace in 2018, a white and grey pittie with the perfect temperament for fostering, she knew that was her next mission, and that’s how she discovered Love-A-Bull.

When she met Poppy, a short-term foster she quickly realized she could never let go, and officially adopted her in 2022 through Love-A-Bull. Now, Calle pours her love for rescue into Love-A-Bull’s Marketing and Social Media, using storytelling to show just how rewarding fostering can be and how incredible it is to watch a dog’s journey from rescue to a forever home!
